Welcome ATAM: Reggio Calabria’s city buses in real time
Since 2 October, Passa il bus shows ATAM’s 38 urban lines: where the buses are, how late they are running and how many minutes until they reach each stop in Reggio.

Reggio Calabria was the biggest gap on the map. In the Region’s open data, where Passa il bus gets its timetables and positions, ATAM only appeared with two out-of-town lines, to Cardeto and to Santo Stefano in Aspromonte. The urban network, the one students, workers and hospital visitors use every day, was missing.
Since 2 October, it is there.
What you get
38 urban lines, from the 101 to Arghillà to the 113 to Pellaro, from the 28 to the airport to the 119 to Gallico Superiore. Together with the two out-of-town lines, that makes 40 ATAM lines on the map.
More than 1,600 stops, each with live upcoming departures: minutes to wait, expected time and how late or early the bus is.
Buses on the move on the map, with their position updated about once a minute, their delay and their next stop.
The route of every trip drawn along the streets, with the stops already served and the one coming up.
Search for lines and stops, and the Stops near me button, which in Reggio now shows ATAM stops too.
How it works
The map shows buses that have already started their trip: at peak times that is up to about thirty at once. For trips that have not started yet, you will find the timetable at each stop.
Where
On the map in your browser at mappa.passailbus.it, in the iPhone app and in the Android app, which is in testing. Like the rest of Passa il bus, it is free, with no ads and no sign-up.
StrettoWeb and il Reggino have already written about it, in Italian.
Passa il bus is an independent project: it is not an ATAM service and is not affiliated with the company. For official timetables, tickets and complaints, ATAM’s own information applies. If something looks wrong, write to us.
