What Passa il bus is and what it is not. These terms cover the website passailbus.it and the map at mappa.passailbus.it. The Italian version is the binding one.

What it is

Passa il bus is an independent, free project that shows on a map where Calabria's public buses are. It is not an official service. It is not affiliated with Regione Calabria or with any transport operator, and none of them controls or endorses it.

How much you can trust what you see

Timetables and positions come from the open data published by Regione Calabria and, for some lines, from the operators' on-board systems. They may be incomplete, old or wrong, and a bus may fail to transmit its position for long stretches. Trips that do not transmit do not appear on the map: no position is ever derived from the timetable.

Use Passa il bus as an indication, not as a guarantee. For a connection, for a time that really matters or for a journey you cannot miss, check with the operator that runs the service. The official timetables are the ones it publishes.

Complaints and reports about the service

If a bus did not come, if a timetable is wrong or if you have a complaint about the service, contact the transport operator or the Region directly. No report is forwarded to anyone from here: this site reads the data, does not produce it and does not pass it on to whoever runs the service. For problems with the map itself, see the Contact page.

Liability

The website and the map are offered as they are, with no guarantee of operation or continuity, and may stop or change at any time. Whoever runs them is not liable for delays, missed connections, expenses or other damages arising from their use.

Fair use

You may use Passa il bus freely for your journeys. Avoid repeated automated requests or bulk downloads: behind it is a public service that can only carry a limited load, and overloading it harms everyone who uses it.

Map and trademarks

The base map is © OpenStreetMap and its contributors, under the ODbL licence. Operator names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the lines.
