Why doesn't my bus appear?
Because at that moment it is not transmitting its position, neither to the regional service nor from its on-board system. The trip is still listed when you open the line or the stop, with its scheduled time and when it was last seen.
Is the delay reliable?
It is calculated from the vehicle's real position against the timetable, along the road travelled. It is an indication, not a guarantee: for a connection that matters, check with the operator.

Who's behind it

Danilo Tallarico

Behind Passa il bus is Danilo Tallarico, 18, a computer science student at the ITTS Scalfaro technical school in Catanzaro: he designed and built the map and the app.

The project starts from a question that anyone taking a bus in Calabria asks at the stop every day: is it late, has it already gone, or is it not coming? It is independent: not a service of the Region or of the transport operators, and the official timetables remain theirs.
